Ari: “I think the burden is on those people who think he didn’t have weapons of mass destruction to tell the world where they are.” huh?. This make absolutely no sense at all. I suppose par for the course. via Atrios.
**Update:**One thing that gets me, that so much of the world appears to be missing– Bush says he is “absolutely confident” that he’s done the right thing. I ask you to show me one time that Bush didn’t push forward with absolute confidence, whether or not it was conveyed or warranted. It doesn’t happen. It hasn’t happened. Even choking on the pretzel and clobbering his head on the table, he did so confidently. He stepped back onto the motor-scooter with absolute confidence, just like the first time. It’s his MO. He doesn’t know enough to think differently. His world is so small that he can’t conceive of thoughts other than his own, except the opposite. He’s been coddled and protected throughout his life, never facing uncertainty, at least of the variety where something bad might happen. So he and his aristocratic confidence can go and piss up a flagpole. Share your confidence when it’s actually of value. This is nice too: “And there’s no doubt in my mind, when it’s all said and done, the facts will show the world the truth.” I suppose that depends on how you define facts and truth.
